Here are some parent testimonials:
“I love Emerson. My son attended for all 5 years (he’s in Kinder now) and now my daughter is there (just turned 1). The staff cares about the kids, educates them, and prepares them for the transition to elementary school.”
~ Elizabeth L.
“My son is 2 years old and has been attending since he was 11 months old. He LOVES it. The staff is great! The curriculum is great! The children are loved, individuality is encouraged – and each child is helped along through their milestones."
~ Laura T.
“My kids are in love with [Emerson Academy]. Neither one wants to leave because they learn and have fun in such a great environment. There’s a farm and garden there on the property too! Everyone there actually cares about the children!”
~ Autumn W.
“Emerson Academy takes children of all abilities, which means that they offer specialized training to their teachers. This training has meant all of the difference in the world to us. I am thrilled to say that my daughter loves going to school here and has blossomed under their care!"
~ Heather S.
“This is by far the most loving, nurturing and caring day care my son has attended. The staff here is amazing and all the teachers are really invested in taking care of the kids. We had the best experience here and saw a significant difference in our son after he started going here.”
~ Shreya S.
“Emerson is such a jewel for the community. The staff, the mission, and the campus create a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for kids with varying needs and abilities. Our son has cochlear implants and it is hard to find a childcare environment that matches what they offer in terms of class size and cost.”

Frequently Asked
Questions
What is the monthly tuition?
Monthly tuition is broken down by age groups and abilities/special needs. Please allow our program director to discuss rates with your family. Tuition is due monthly by the 1st day of the month in which your child will be enrolled at Emerson Academy. There is a 10% sibling discount, applied to the tuition of the oldest child. Part-time options are available for children aged 1-12 years.
How do I register my child?
Our registration forms are available here on our website or you can stop by the center and pick up a registration packet. There is an initial $150 registration fee. In the event that there are no vacancies in your child’s age group we can add your child to our waiting list. All forms must be complete (including a health statement from your child’s physician) and turned in before a child may begin attending.
What curriculum does Emerson Academy use?
Emerson Academy uses Creative Curriculum® in our classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschool and Pre-K. This comprehensive, research-based program integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. In addition to classroom learning, the children will have the opportunity to participate in various enrichment programs including music, sign language, gardening, and animal care. Music Class with Ms.Amber is also offered for an additional $25/month/family, as well as a music-based bilingual Spanish class that Amber offers for an additional $40/month.
What are the benefits of inclusive learning?
Research has shown that students without disabilities who are educated in inclusive settings have demonstrated improvement in their attitudes toward people unlike themselves. They are more likely to take an increased social responsibility and show greater self-confidence (Staub and Peck, 1995). Children with disabilities benefit from having typically developing peers as language, social and behavior models. Inclusive education teaches all children teamwork and how to interrelate and function together with others of different abilities. They learn to value diversity, see the ability of others to contribute, and it gives children a sense of unity (Kids Together, Inc.©).
